Once the latest available bios was installed and tested to be stable, I then did an upgrade. The board should now also see a stand alone install, but not tested. According to ASUS, the board is not yet supported or tested for windows 10 as yet. But with the latest bios, it seems to work ok and is stable so fare that I can tell.

I did try to use a downloaded version of Win7 Ultimate on USB to fix it, but I got the message that it was not compatible as it was not the version I had loaded on the PC. As such I had no choice but to spend a day in storage trying to find my install disc. When I did, and tried to fix my PC, it gave me the warning that it was not compatible as it was not the version that was loaded in Well as this is most definitely not the case and I had no way to access the drive, I was forced with a new install.

And again, I’ve tried two different copies of MCT installation files, both which have worked on other computers. Or, are you suggesting something like this? Or isn’t the right question: why isn’t the Windows installer able to access the online files to get what it needs or write what it needs?
